		We are the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, or IUPAT, a labor union of 140,000+ men and women who are committed to providing the finest craftsmanship in our trades. We are Painters; Wall Covering Installers; Drywall Tapers and Finishers; Glaziers; Architectural Metal and Glass Workers; Paint Makers; Floor and Decorative Coverings Workers; Sign and Display Workers; Display Convention and Show Decorators; Scenic Artists and Designers; Metal Polishers; and many other tradesmen and professionals. Our union prides itself on a tradition of excellence and while we got our start in the 19th century, our union is firmly in the 21st century. We provide craft, safety, organizing and political action training for our members. En Español: Somos la Union Internacional de Pintores y Oficios Aliados, o IUPAT, Union de obreros de mas de 140,000 hombres y mujeres que estan cometidos a la mas alta calidad en nuestros oficios.
